Sugar Beach Resort & Spa is situated on the west coast of Mauritius, adjacent to La Pirogue and the resort overlooks half a kilometre of white, sandy beach. This contemporary plantation-style property is spread over more than 12 hectares of tastefully landscaped tropical gardens.

Accommodation is either in the Manor House or in one of 16 villa style buildings (each with 10 to 12 rooms). Every room and suite is elegantly decorated and has a private balcony or terrace with a lounger, ottoman & sofa, to relax and enjoy the stunning views.

Sugar Beach guests have the choice of 4 restaurants; Mon Plaisir, the main restaurant featuring daily live cooking buffets and a variety of themed dinners. Tides is located at the beachfront and provides light lunches or gastronomic dinner with live music and international cuisine. Citronella's Café for Italian specialties and Paul & Virginie Restaurant for traditional Mauritian cuisine.

A fabulous choice of activities and facilities are available, including the award-winning Aura Spa & Hammam, the ultimate sanctuary for those looking to recharge their batteries with a host of beauty and body treatments by the team of professional Spa therapists. Sugar Beach also boasts one of the biggest kids clubs in Mauritius, featuring its own buffet and swimming pool. For the older children (12-17 yrs), a teens programme offers a special programme of sports & recreation, excursions, beach BBQ's and pizza nights.

Guests have a choice of two swimming pools, including one designated as a quiet zone and the other being the largest hotel pool (2000m²) on the island. Complimentary activities include tennis, snorkelling, windsurfing and glass-bottom boat trips. Diving, waterskiing, parasailing and big game fishing can be arranged (paid locally).
