'Benitier Dream' Catamaran Cruise

5 day (4 night) Catamaran cruise
- departing from Grand Baie and finishing at Port Louis

Day 1. Tuesday. Grand Baie – Turtle Bay (1hr 30mins – 9 Nautical Miles)

Embarkation at 12 noon in Grand Baie for a briefing on safety as well as the cruise itinerary. After lunch the catamaran sails towards Turtle Bay where you will spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure and be free to enjoy swimming and kayaking. Overnight Turtle Bay.

Day 2. Wednesday. Turtle Bay – Lagoon of Le Morne (4hrs - 21 Nautical Miles)

Set sail for a four hour cruise to the lagoon of Le Morne, one of the most beautiful on the island. Spend the afternoon in this beautiful spot and have the opportunity to visit Benitier islet with the tender boat. Admire the sunset and, pending clear weather conditions, you may even have the chance to see the high summit of Reunion Island on the horizon.

Day 3. Thursday. Lagoon of Le Morne – Grand Riviere Noire (45mins -3 Nautical Miles)

After breakfast, the catamaran crew will take you on a cruise to Grande Rivière Noir, letting you discover the relatively less developed south west coast. The yacht will stop for a swim at La Préneuse or L’harmonie. On the optional excursion, you visit Chamarel where you discover the magic of the coloured earths and fabulous views of the lagoon; there's also a visit to a rum distillery and a delicious Lunch. Spend a peaceful night in the bay of Grand Rivière Noir protected from strong winds by the majestic mountains of the southwest. Dinner and night on board.

Day 4. Friday. Grande Riviere Noir – Baie de Goulet (4hrs 30mins – 20 Nautical Miles)

A longer cruise today with the crew taking you to possibly see dolphins and, quite possibly, the opportunity to swim with these beautiful creatures. Alternatively, take a sea kayak to visit the mythical beach of Tamarin or discover the mouth of the Rampart River. Back on board, the catamaran sets sail towards the last anchorage at Goulet for a final night on board.

Day 5. Saturday. Baie de Goulet – Port Louis

Early in the morning crew will hoist anchor for a last cruise toward Port Louis and the Caudan marina. Disembarkation at 8am after breakfast.
